Robert first began his dance journey as a spectator, watching various dancers and choreographers on America's Best Dance Crew and YouTube. After taking his first dance class in 2014, he dove into training. Robert has since had the privilege of leading PUSO Modern, a competitive, collegiate dance team based in Stony Brook University, as director from 2017-2019. Shortly after graduating from his alma mater, Robert joined Project D, an award-winning dance company that has performed at many competitions across the country, where he currently serves as a company dancer and creative team choreographer. Having also grown up with a strong connection to his Korean heritage, Robert naturally became a big fan of K-Pop. He has combined his passion for both dance and K-Pop by performing at events/concerts such as KCON NY, hosted by CJ ENM, and KBS Immortal Songs at Prudential Center. Robert looks forward to sharing what he's learned over the years with any and all dancers willing to try the fun and exciting KPOP class!
